ELLIOT PAYNE
Sports Therapist
"Hi, I'm Elliot, the founder of EP Mobile Sports Therapy. I love what I do and I'm very passionate about treating and rehabilitating injuries. I believe that the combination of being injured a lot in my football career along with a desire to help people makes Sports Therapy the right career for me!
My main interest within Sports Therapy is rehab as it's very rewarding to see people complete their journey from injured to getting back in to the sport they love! I decided to start a mobile Sports Therapy business to allow everyone access to the services I offer."
"After graduating Staffordshire University in 2016 with a BSc in Sports Therapy, I've gained a lot of valuable experience at professional and local levels.
Since 2019 I've treated injury's from a wide range of sports, and travelled to most parts of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
I am fully first aid trained and insured through the Sports Therapy Association (STA), with whom I continue my professional development as a Sports Therapist. While working in rugby I also hold the PHICIS level 2 qualification.
I use my skills to support local sports teams, and currently spend the season with Hereford RFC having previously been with Hereford Pegasus. I also work closely with other local teams, including the quickly growing Hereford American Football team, Hereford Stampede.
Outside of work my weekend mood is dependant on the results of Arsenal and the Baltimore Ravens. My weekly activity consists of gym, running, badminton and swimming.
I also love travelling, with my two favourite places so far being Mexico and Canada (Banff in the winter).
